Oh, Kely  I have some of the cutest gray-headed Doctors. That' right Dutch Boy. I had a Nurse from Hospice to visit me and when I got finished with her, she ran out of my apartment laughing. She agreed I didn't need her services, YET! The Almighty will give me my notice, right?

Anytime a person is too sick to get out of bed and sit at their computer---IS REALLY SICK! But I'm back. Having visitors coming and going--ALL WOMEN. My appetite was dwindling but I've got it back. People with cancer have to eat, or die. The Office Manager where I live bought me a Hillery's rib tip dinner and it was good. It was actually put on a grill and not boiled like I had from North Chicago. Can't eat too much because the sauce makes my gluclose go sky high. The sauce is what makes the bbq taste so good. Because I'm on a blood thinner, Coumadin, I can't eat green leafy stuff--one day I said to hell with all of the don't eat this or that, and ate some greens ,(Danno) Smile and some cake--and waited for the onslaught--NOTHING HAPPENED. I lived. Well I'm gettimg ready to eat at sandwich and do some tv-dozing. Take care--I think about all of you--xxxxxxx

Hi chilluns---in and out again at Condell. I am now under Hospice, at home. Very good and caring group. They even gave me two types of morphine. Wink I am not afraid because I know that God is not going to let me suffer. None of us know the day or the hour. Do any of you know anyone who has received or is receiving Hospice?care?

HEy BlackD. I had to work there in a hospice to take care of the catering for the visitors and for the residents.

People are being taken care of, and they are tended to their needs when they ask for it.

At least, that is how it is goin in my country.

I am still planning on meeting you when I come to the US and show youmy greencard.

Don't you dare to kick the bucket before I come to you!!!

I would be very sad and feeling bad when it should happen!!

Hey girlfriend - I'm very glad to hear they're pampering you. Have they sent you any gray-haired hotties yet? :o Big Grin

Our family used Star Hospice when my stepmom was in her final battle against cancer last spring, and they were awesome. Such a huge help (physical and emotional) for the entire family.

When my mom was suffering with lung cancer the Hospice people were absolutely a God send. They helped us in so many ways. We can't thank them enough for the care & compassion they showed. They were so good to my mom, made her comfortable in every way possible and told us exactly how to care for her.
BlackDiamond, I continue to pray for your strength & comfort. You have been such a joy to us all on this site - and others. You are truly a jewel! God bless you.
