Bupkes...Are the supervisors of the "make up" p.e. class being paid? I am aware that the Hammer has leeway with how he runs his school (yes, his school, it is no longer our high school), but the "two for one" belongs at the Jewel Food Stores or Payless Shoes, not in the classroom. Are these students making up class for illness or unexcused absences? If it is for students who have skipped, are they then being rewarded for not following the rules?

All I know is the students are voicing the fact that this is happening. The particulars of whether they're being paid or not aren't certain. The word they used to describe who these people are is "volunteers." Volunteers who are telling them to form a circle and pray, by the way.
Keep in mind these are non-certified people standing in for what should be a certified teacher's responsibilities.
The absences are unexcused, I would think. The students are in danger of not getting a P.E. credit they need in order to graduate. The two-fer on make up sessions is totally unacceptable.

The Union has tried to support the teachers but are not listened to. The contract means nothing to the current administration. Teachers that speak out (in favor of the students) are punished, teachers that go along, like sheep, with the current administration are rewarded with extra classes house placements and pitted against other teachers. When will the state come in? The school board has proven they cant hire competent administrators. and yes they are aware of the situations, Either they dont care, beleive the administration or just dont have a clue.

What about forming a watchdog organization that can start to resolve all of these issues on the students and teachers behalf? You could feed the information to the watchdog group and they could bring it up at board meetings and ensure the issues get the appropriate focus.

Isn't the School Board the "watchdog group"? They know about the situation but aren't doing anything.
Yes, they are supposed to be. But obviously are not doing the job they took an oath to do. Between now and the elections the only thing the community can do is form a select group of citizens to hold their feet to the fire.

I'll try to answer the riddle:
#1 Are you referring to Hamlin @ building #1
#2 Are you referring to Hamlin @ building #2
#3 I can answer this one easily, the Entire School Board, Board Attorney, Batiste, Gaudin, Howard and Pattison to start.
