This is the shortest list I've seen for a long time. I'll tell you what though -I've seen MT Homes LLC more times then I can count. MT bought one of those broken town apartment buildings by Williamsburg. Another unit was sold there recently too. Group Miller bought some land/buildings? between Water/Sheridan/Genesee. Here is this weeks listings. Anything stand out? There's been an apartment building sold for the last three weeks. Two in the Williamsburg area. Look at that, $45,000 for a little house off of Belvidere. Confusedhock: I haven't seen one of those condos on Washington, downtown, sold in awhile.

My first house I bought 16 years ago is on this list. The shame of the times is that it sold for 15 thousand less than when I bought it 16 years ago. Brand new electric, etc. All I can say is,"Wow!"

They are real names. No less uncommon than say Abdollah Tadayoni who bought Melrose or dare I say...our new President Barak Obama's name. People from different parts of the world & different cultures often have different sounding names than those held as commonplace here in the USA.

Thanks for these updates Fedup. 139 S. Fulton sold for about that same amount 25 years ago.

I'm planning on filing for a real estate assessment appeal next week. My preliminary work has shown that over 95% of the properties sold, in my area in Waukegan, in the year 2008 have been for an amount substantially less than the most recent assessement.

Why is Condell buying property on Flossmoor? Danno- I thought the rationale was that the assessment is based on the last 4 years of home sales, not just this one? Let us know how that goes.
