"Progressive" is 2010 for the 1994 "liberal". Its Glenn Beck speak, progressive=cancer on american society. Like being liberal, demcratatic party or progressive is unamerican. It helps with the us vs them mentality of 9/12ers. They like to think its derogatory and label anyone who disagrees with their world view.

Very good observation about the "us vs them" mentality. That has been used for centuries. It tends to keep things nice and simple for the simple minded.
