They probably are Democrats. So? Southern strategy? I don't affiliate with either party. Both are clueless.
"Progressive" is 2010 for the 1994 "liberal". Its Glenn Beck speak, progressive=cancer on american society. Like being liberal, demcratatic party or progressive is unamerican. It helps with the us vs them mentality of 9/12ers. They like to think its derogatory and label anyone who disagrees with their world view.
