Proof of confidential student information being released by Waukegan Public School in an FOIA request was transmitted to the Regional Office of Education Asst. Superintendent Gary Pickens. (Mr. Pickens asked if I could provide proof of the release)
Oh Brother - I'm sure the employees want to know that their information was released. I'm sure that the parents want to know that their children's information was released. Waukegan Public School already knew what they released but didn't notify anyone. I notified the ROE a week ago and so far no one has been notified. I have passed all the information to the ROE who has the information anyway and the employee's information to the Lake County Federation of Teachers after getting a written agreement from them that only LCFT president and the three WPS union presidents would have access to the data. If that isn't acceptable to you, then nothing would be.
