i firmly believe this is not the place to talk about high school coaches and high school players. If you have a gerenal problem with school policy, administration, or something of that nature that is fine. Newton if you have concerns call the coach yourself!

I share the beliefs of the statement about the speaking of high school players. I did read the post that was edited by Newton, and I do not believe it is or was out of line. Are the coaches in Waukegan not an extension of the high school education process? Is it taboo to expect excellence in every facet of our children's experience?
I agree with Jazmin's response, as well. Many things are not right with our district. I also know that I have notified people of failures of the infrastucture at Jack Benny. There was an old light pole with its base rusting out that fell into the parking lot at Benny, and there is at least one other in the same condition as the one that fell. It is our obligation to point these things out. I know I have spoken with both the house principal and High School principal about problems that I have seen or heard this year, affecting my children, all of which were addressed immediately.
Regardless of the intention behind words, I certainly stand behind everyone's right to speak them, as the title of this forum suggests.
By the way, I hope these kids go all the way this year! Go Bulldogs!
