YEAAAAAAA MY DAUGHTER CAN GO TO SCHOOL THE FIRST DAY!! 
OK, we went to the Welcome Center, did our thing, then over to the High School to get her ID etc. She wasn't able to get that, as the district was in a meeting, but will get it tomorrow at school. I am just sooo thankful she's in and she can't wait to start either!! I want to thank Mr. Rodriguez, who not only emailed me, but did a lot of behind the scenes work to make this happen, along with a follow-up call today to make sure everything went well. Also thanks to Sonny and Dr. Batiste who both called me to let me know it will be taken care of. Kudos to these three for a job well done!
