This seems like a nice place. Wonder how many former townie posters will find their way here.

I come to extend a mea culpa for having a bad attitude about the 73 class reunion. I as the guy who was upset about people crashing the reunion. Someone said it on the town board, maybe cpa or danno, don't remember. He said why would I worry about anybody wanting to crash the wths 1973 class reunion? He was right. We barely had enough of our classmates. Why would anyone want to crash a reunion that had nothing but a bunch of old middle aged people. It was pretty good though. Weather wasn't that great but it was a small hop from the tent to the Greentown tavern. Also a small hop to the bathrooms for all of us +50 people :roll: The DJ was playing hits from the early 70s (oh my god) "don't rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby" sigh

It was good though. I noticed the burnouts still hung with the burnouts, the "garage boys" (motorheads) still hung out together. The "princesses" still hung out together. It was nice though. Good food, some good music. It was nice to see some our old friends.

It wasn't me. I am 1975 but was personally invited by Mr. Eimerman (we grew up a block apart) so I didn't crash it. I too noticed the choice of music was about a half a generation off. Sad to see people our age "dancing" in their chairs. I thought they were supposed to have live music.
