Hey, Queen! I live in 60087! The houses are nice, but we have the same problems (albeit on a smaller scale) than the '85 folks. The big difference is- we have an alderman who is totally worthless.

I believe it started as a way to look at who is buying in Waukegan, what they are paying & to determine if it is good or bad. I thought your comment about 60087 being elite was funny considering that zip includes the Garden homes.

Julia pinned it of course. It's a running monitor to see how many sales that period, the range of prices, who keeps buying rental properties, the incredibly small prices they are paying, etc...

I have a house across the street from me on Pacific 700 block for $58,000 - A good street for the most part.

Yes Fedup--I was really curious about that. I thought 60087 was in the "upper crust" neighborhoods Karen, and in that way people who were looking to buy would think it was better in that area. :oops:
