According to the News Sun an alleged robbery suspect is holed up in the house, which is surrounded by a SWAT team.

A police standoff outside a vacant home in Waukegan has ended with noone in custody and police without a suspect.

A SWAT team and a K-9 unit had surrounded the home on the 500 block of Dady Place Friday for more that three hours following a report that a robbery suspect was holed up in the vacant residence.

Waukegan police surrounded an abandoned house where an alleged armed robber was reportedly holed up on Dady Place.

Police said the man allegedly robbed a small grocery store located at West and Belvidere and then barricaded himself in the home after a police chase.
