Hyde mailing
#1
Just received another piece of mail from our Mayor. This is the second piece that has arrived with a quote from the News Sun. The quote is FOUR Years old. It is very sad when the Mayor can not find anything more recent to print.

He could but 4 year old stuff is harder to go back on and refute.

If he mentioned his recent failures, it'd be counter-productive.

I find it interesting that they use an old quote like that but then use the recent recession as an excuse for his failures. some of these lame mailers are most likely the product of Hyde campaign manager David Koss.

Hyde's latest mailing is incredibly, jaw-droppingly negative and twisted. I am sick of the negativity and applaud Mr. Sabonjian for running campaign that has held to the high road.

I have just seen the latest mailing, which was posted surrupticiously from Carol Stream. Not sure whether I was targeted as I have a Sabonjian sign in my yard. Nevertheless, I must take the time to thank Mr Couvall et al. Had it not been for flyer, we could have had an embarrasing situation and run out of toilet paper over the weekend.

Carol Stream is a regional mail hub. Lots of bulk mail goes through there.

Kellyann,
Since you didn't receive the 'waffle letter', you wouldn't have known...it was not 'bulk' mail.
It had a full postage stamp on it. blank envelope, label addressed to current resident.
It could have been dropped in the mail elsewhere and postmarked from there, I suppose, but we
all know that it originated in Waukegan.
I think the sale of waffles will go up in Waukegan because of it.
Bring on the strawberries!!

I have no doubt it originated in Waukegan - just pointing out that it's not uncommon for things to take a strange route through the postal service. Back in the fall I got a letter from TenPas, endorsing Link (even though I had a Gray sign in my yard), that went either through Palatine or Carol Stream. I'm sure he didn't drive down there to mail them. Wink

BTW - I cooked waffles this morning for breakfast. Delicious! My waffle iron makes heart-shaped waffles, though, so I'm not responsible for Hyde's waffles Big Grin
