Salvation Army
#1
I have seen those people ringing bells for decades. The thought/question just came to my mind. Where does that money go? I've never read or heard of any Organization, etc., saying "Thanks to the Salvation Army, we were able to purchase (this or that)." Does anyone have any information on this Organization? I found out that the "bell ringers" gets a small stipend, but who gets the rest?

Funny you should ask that. Just today I saw a Salvation Army commercial. They showed a ringer at different 'disaster scenes.'

Their home site tells what they do.

Also, didn't WKRS caller Larry from McHenry say he was with the Salvation Army for a long time? Or I could really be wrong about that. Smile

Wasn't he also with the French Foreign Legion, the Royal Canadian mounted Police, the Illuminati and the Cia?

  ( the Oprah bit). I always see them at a Jewel's Store. I'm going to open up that Web page to see what they're all about. Thanks for responding. Fedup: I opened that site to read why they do for Seniors---they say a lot but don't say when or where to go to get the Services they offer.( I just wonder "where the bucks stop"). Like those jars on counters saying "For Jerry's Kids" Foundation. Sad
