Chicago/Chicagoland have been ranked by FORBES Magazine (August 2010 edition) as the most stressful city/metro area in the USA once again. Last year, Chicago/Chicagoland scored number uno as well.

How come? Take a look at this excerpt from above article:
"But more pressing factors make Chicago for the second year in a row the country's most stressful city. Crowding, poor air quality, a high 11 percent unemployment rate and free-falling home values have created a cocktail of constant worry affecting many in the Windy City."
So how do other major American cities rank in re stress?
2. Los Angeles, Calif.
3. New York, NY
4. Cleveland, Ohio
5. Providence, R.I.
In terms of most dangerous neighborhoods in the USA, Chicago once again scores the highest. Of the TOP 25 most dangerous neighborhoods in the entire USA, Chicago has FOUR ... more than any other major American city.
One Chicago neighborhood is so very dangerous, over a one yr period there, a person's chances of becoming a crime victim are one in four (ranked as the second most dangerous neighborhood in the entire USA).
Then add in Springfield, IL, and Illinois scores as the HIGHEST state in the entire USA with the most violent neighborhoods.

Really "inspiring" stats, heh?
Then add in Blagojevich and Illinois' mostly corrupt, broken dysfunctional political governance from the State House to the City Halls, and you can see little wonder why Illinois and Waukegan, IL have major, major problems like no where else in the entire United States of America.
