Mr. President, What took you so long?

Yes, this is a partisan production, presenting the President's daily calendar(priorities) in chronological order. And we are s-o-o-o offended by Tony Heyward's attendance at a yacht race, after being replaced as the head of the Gulf operation. Our current political leaders(both parties) sound foolish, to me.

Well, when The President did speak to BP CEO Sir Tony Hayward on Wednesday, June 16, 2010...he jawboned Sir Tony to set up a $20 BILLION recovery clam fund for victims of his company's disastrous oil spill.

Convenient how you failed to cite this fact, CL. Further, BP now is saying they will increase the fund to $50 BILLION:

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37806021/ns/disaster_in_the_gulf/">http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37806021/ns ... _the_gulf/</a><!-- m -->

The oil industry loving radical convervatives in Congress blocked an increase liability BP proposal by progressives of $10 BILLION! And radical conservative, oil-loving industry contribution taking Congressman Joe Barton (he has received more $$$ in campaign donations from the oil-industry in over $1 MILLION) called The President's accomplishment of $20 BILLION for those who have no deep pockets like Sir Tony has as a "shakedown." Barton further "felt sorry" for BP and then "apologized" to BP CEO Tony Hayward before Congress this past Thursday.

So let's hear the full story here, CL. The President through jawboning and persuasion FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE accomplished greater relief than any other President in American history has ever done following an environmental disaster! For which traitorous and treacherous "put Big OIL first" radical conservative types like Congressman Joe Barton APOLOGIZE to a foreign CEO filled with High and Mighty British snearing imperious contempt !!

HEY, why don't the radical conservatives ALSO apologize for the Boston Tea Party, the U S Declartion of Independence and the U S Constitution?? Then kneel down low and humbly beg for pardon for Gen. George Washington's win at YORKTOWN kicking the BRITS OUT of HERE since these radical conservatives are so on bended knee and feeling sooooo sorry for the arrogant, self-serving and ROYAL BRITS ??

Go join them and drink tea and eat biscuits at HIGH NOON, we don't need their sorry, traitorous kowtowing keesters to foreign, greedy potentate CEO's with haughty BRITISH ACCENTS who know nothing other than Millionaire Club yachting here !!!

That YouTube video purports that had Republican been in charge they would have dealt with the spill in a much more effective manner.... Ha Ha Ha Ha! Good one. Anyone who truly believes that must be a moron.

CL has nothing but sheer antipathy towards the President about the Gulf Oil Spill yet remains totally silent about BP regarding THEIR oil spill.
Totally critical of our own duly legally elected President Obama but gives the foreign potentate, sneering imperious haughty BRITISH Petroleum CEO Sir Tony a total pass.

Par for the cricket course, wouldn't you say, m8s?

CHEERIO !

Well said, types. Now I don't have to add my yawn. As usual, Danno interprets what he sees to fit his purpose. I thought the video pointed out the hyprocrisy in our President's criticism of BP's chairman for attending a yacht race after being relieved of duty, after spending a few weeks in the Gulf, while our President spent the peoples time with frivolities, during that same period of time. Cheerio, and all that stuff!

Really lame defense...so now go and "bury" this post since you received some "pushback" with a whole genuine "yawn" cut and paste of new posts which few even bother to open.

Are you saying that you viewed this post 63 times? Why would you do that? I respect you, but, I think you need a new friend. An old friend. Come on, wake up. Call me. I'm in the phonebook, you know who I am. I still respect you, in spite of your, long ago, rejection of my support. I always valued your intellectual and moral grounding. Regards, your still loyal, former friend
