New Pew Research Center: most Americans endorse progressives
#1
A just realeased poll from the prestigious Pew Research Center finds overwhemling majorities of
U S Citizens endorsing words such as "progressive", "civil liberties" and "civil rights."

On the other hand , most U S citizens do not approve of such words as "militia" while those young persons under age thirty respond more favorably to "socialism" vs "capitalism."

Read these most remarkable findings in this new poll just realeased by the Pew Research Center in early May 2010. Certainly, the majority of Americans endorse progressive viewpoints while finding extreme right-wing, violence inducing "militias" to be mostly repugnant as well they well should!

Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Words are always loaded with meanings that can change with the passage of time. The reactions that WT Reader is, as always, hysterically championing are meaningless. The responses also had a positive 77% for States Rights and 89% for Family Values, which are code words for conservatives, which WT neglects to mention.

Those poll people neglected to address a couple of important points in their study... they forgot to take into account the fact that the word "Positive" has a 67% negative meaning among people who think for themselves and the word "Pew" has a 88% negative meaning for everyone.

I don't find anything "hysterical" in this post I presented here,
tell me what you find "hysterical" about it, Fist.

Maybe you just hit the wrong letters on your typewriter, since you
"type with fist."

How does that work, anyway? Typing with your fist? Do you wreck
a lot of keyboards doing that? What happens to your fists in the process?

Sounds really angry, too, "fisting" a keyboard.

I thought the idea of this WT Forum was to reasonably discuss issues rather than "hurting."

What do you find reasonable in your previous assertions that TeaParty and 9-12 Patriots are synonomous with hate mongers and racists? How can you, in good conscience, continue to support the Progressive Movement, when history shows that it is an economically and socially disastrous movement? It is obvious that you are a person of higher education; don't let yourself be used by these people that embrace a much darker, hidden agenda. You are a free American. Try to tailor your posts and replies from that position; you might feel alot better about yourself when you wake up in the morning.

Gosh WT, calm down, maybe see your doctor, before you blow a gasket. Be sure to speak frankly and tell him how upset you become. But, make sure to tie your shoelaces, so you don't trip and hit your head and need a ct scan.
