Will Health Care Reform pass U S House on March 21, 2010?

Will The President's Health Care Reform legislation pass the U S House on March 21, 2010?

My analysis is that it will, though it will be close. According to CNN as of now, 31 Democratic U S House members are against it, 38 U S Democratic House members needed to stop the bill.

I am calling all Illinois U S House Members to pass this bill, whether they be Democratic or Republican.

I want this legislation passed. So do the majority of the American People, 46% now supporting this bill according to recent polling by the Kaiser Foundation.

Hey Danno....

NBC NEWS just announced a short while ago (about NOON on Sunday, March 21, 2010) that White House attorneys are working with U S Representative Bart Stupak. The bulletin news report is saying that a possible Executive Order will be issued by The President which will explicity forbid any taxpayer funding of abortions.

It is further being stated that if this comes to pass in the next few hours, U S Rep Bart Stupak is signaling he will change his upcoming vote for The President's Health Care Reform package before the U S House today from a "no" to a "yes." If this happens, at least seven to eight other U S House members with change their potential "nay" vote to a "yea" vote.

Such action will virtually assure that The President's Health Care Reform proposal will pass the U S House later today.

Hope it happens, we must have health care reform now ! Big Grin Big Grin

U S Congressman Bart Stupak has just announced he will support The President's Health Care Reform proposal in the U S House for a vote today, March 21, 2010. This is because The President has just agreed to Executive Order making it clear that there will be no public funds available for abortions.

As a result, passage of The President's Health Care Reform proposal will now most definitely meet the required 216 "yea" votes in the U S House today and shall pass. HURRAH !!

Well done, Mr. President, Speaker of the House Susan Pelosi and the majority of Democrat U S House Members!

An enormous historic victory for the American People, the most major significant in terms of health care coverage since LBJ passed Medicare and Medicaid in 1965 and FDR passed The Social Security Act in 1935.

Bravo and applause, applause ! Big Grin Big Grin

219 YEAS for Health Care Reform in the U S House,
212 NAYS for Health Care Reform in the U S House.

Most memorable lines...House Minority Speaker John Boehner "all health care is politics."
Speaker of the House Susan Pelosi "all health care politics is personal." As in saving lives, life-affirming. So right on point.

Health Care Reform passes the U S House, now onto The President for signing into Public Law and back to the U S Senate for Final Reconcilation.
So now onto the U S Senate !!

YES WE CAN !
