Well, it's almost over folks. Looks like the messiah will be our next president. Is this a good thing? No, not at all. Will I open a vein and let myself bleed out if he wins? No. It will just be a shame. Here's a man who is a socialist at heart. Someone who aligns himself more with the culture of France than the culture of the U.S. Will we the people survive it? Yes, we survived FDR and LBJ although we are still paying big time for their socialist programs. Obama will just throw a few more of these types of programs onto the heap. The people will have enough of it though. Maybe in four years but most likely in 8 years. In 8 years any good conservative republican will take back the white house and conservatives will take back congress. The people will by then see what socialism is doing to this country. One can only hope that the democratic congress and the soon to be democratic white house doesn't do too much damage until then.
The media demands that Obama win this election and so it will probably happen. People always complain about the liberal media but you would have to be real dunce to deny it today. Just look at the facts. The bottom of McCain's ticket has more experience then the top of Obama's ticket. You hear the media blast away at Palin for her inexperience but the fact is she has more experience than Obama. She has held executive positions, actually ran a state while all Obama has done was be a Illinois state senator in a very corrupt democratic machine in Chicago. Since he has become a U.S. senator all he has ever done was run for president. How can this disparity be overlooked by the media? It's isn't being overlooked. It is being blatantly ignored. The press is also being very good at pushing the notion that if you are against Obama or any of his programs than you are a racist. I have read stories about how kids who wear McCain/Palin tee shirts that they are being disruptive to the school and they cannot wear them. Obama shirts of course are not disruptive and the kids can wear those.
People who have McCain/Palin bumper stickers are getting their cars keyed and damaged. One person in Florida had his car scratched with the initials KKK because he had a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on it. It is not politically incorrect to vote for McCain. The media has told us so.
Look at what the media and the Obama campaign has done to this "joe the plumber" guy. He had the audacity to say that the dem's tax plan would hurt him if he bought the plumbing business he works for. The media went after him big time. They declared that Joe didn't even have a plumbers license ignoring the fact that he works for a plumbing business and he doesn't even have to have one. Only the plumbing business owner has to have one and he does. They blasted him saying he doesn't make 250k a year. He never claimed he did. He only said he was thinking of maybe buying the business and then after he did so he would probably make more than 250k. They tore that poor guy apart exposing every little thing about him. Take note people. This is what will happen on a large scale if Obama wins. If anyone dares speak badly about him or his programs they will go after you and tear you apart with the media's help of course.
Do I think it's a given that Obama will win? No. McCain could still win but it doesn't look like it. I think the polls are closer than the media is portraying. They want everyone to think that the election is a done deal. They keep saying Obama is a lock. I can only hope this backfires on them. If Obama gets to cocky and starts naming cabinet members before he is even elected this could hurt him come election day.

Take a breath my Brother. I remember years ago we would all go to the Court House and watch the returns on the T.V.'s. There were refreshments, etc. I have friends in all walks of life, with different political views, but we'd all have a good time. I've seen a lot of Obama's signs in Libertville. As the old saying goes: "Let the best man win". We can agree to disagree and still have coffee together. Know what I mean?
