Had dinner tonight at Campari (former Bacci's) and it was terrific. Lots of local folks came out for opening night. The food was wonderful and it's great to be able to sit down to a nice dinner without driving to Kenosha or Highwood!

They had a show menu last night so the menu was more limited than usual, but it is still Italian. I had the Chicken Marsala - which was the same or very close to the Chicken Marsala served at Bacci's. mmmmm. I recognized several other dishes offered on the menu as well. (One of the chefs had worked at Bacci's and I think he may be one of the owners now.)
The decor has changed a bit, but it is still warm and inviting. I particularly like the red walls. The staff was very attentive and accomodating.
One final plus - we did not need to feed the parking meters!!

Now I'm hungry. Is it strictly Italian? I'm tired of Pasta.
