Oprah Winfrey

I caught just a tid bit on the News---it was something about boycotting her show. What was that all about? (I'm really not a big fan of hers)--she out talks the guests.

Everyone wondered if she was going to have VP candidate Palin on her show and she says she wasn't. She said she will not put candidates on her show. Of course before he officially announced his candidacy Obama was on there and she was at some of his gatherings. It's well known she is of Obama and that's fine. Some are upset that she won't have Palin on because she is for Obama. I am not upset. It's her show, she can have who she wants or not want on her show. Doesn't bother me really. If she did have Palin on I am sure she would have done her best to make her look bad so it's for the best.

That's too bad. If it were my Show, I'd let them all come on. I also wish "show folk" people would stay out of politics period. But, that's their rights.

I agree with you BD about show folk. Unfortunately their "star power" blinds a lot of the younger voters. Buy the "image" not the product. The older I get the more it saddens me.
As far as Oprah, she's as phony as anyone else. Obama may not have been a candidate when he was on her show, and if that is the case, I didnt see any other "officially unannounced" candidates being invited.

Sometimes moving to that cave in the mountains begins to sound better and better.... lol
