I know a lady who has been successful more than once. Basically one needs to go to city hall and review the property taxes for similar homes in your neighborhood and use this as documentation in your appeal.

You do know that the assessed value of almost all Waukegan homes has decreased by 2.9%, If tax rates stay the same your property taxes will also drop.
