Waukegan High School Dress Code

I don't care for uniforms. I went to catholic school so I may be biased. Indoctrination/conformance is the point of schools first for religios reasons then the public compulsory form to transition an agricultural society into an industrial society. Skills like punching the clock, reading and arithmetic are crucial to the industrial labor force. If we are now in the transition to an information based society maybe these kids should be given more freedom like folks at Google, Apple and Microsoft to foster creativity? In the end uniforms provide parents with a sense of safety and do little to control behavior in school children.
