Again what is your issue with net neutrality? Maybe I don't understand your viewpoint.
As your post stated the FCC took comcast to court for blocking internet access a few years ago. They lost on a technicality of how the FCC classifies broadband. They have the legal option to re-classify broadband and most likely will. The congress wants to be proactive and make it law that an ISP cant actively block content. This would just be a redundant safeguard to empower the FCC to prosecute ISPs from blocking/throttling content an ISP deems improper. Saving time for re-classification and legal proceedings to preserve net neutrality.
My comment was regarding the back-story behind the very topic you posted :| I know its knee jerk to rail against regulation especially when corrupt Dems do it, but next time you post an article google the parts you don't understand. I cant do all your research for you. I am also suspicious what other legislation will be added to this bill like decency standards, anti-piracy, loss of privacy ect, but this post has no specifics.
