layoffs for school employees

WaukTalk75 Wrote:Whats surprises me is that the district is scaring these teachers with Projected Budget numbers.

I project that when I go to the grocery store I will spend $150 on groceries every two weeks. I can project all I want. If I decide to spend less on something then I won't go over budget!

I want to know where I can see these projected numbers from years past and the actual money they spent. ?????????????

I want to know if the board will investigate, with due diligence, the spending by each department. the board has to approve amount of x amount of dollars for a purchase. But yet, expenditures to the same vendor, for less than"X" and more, in two separate payments, are not even questioned. Accountability is going to have to be key here! Searching for people that will represent families of Waukegan right now, stay tuned!
