layoffs for school employees
#6
I heard that teachers received their official notifications today - is this true? What happened to the administrator's grand plans of furlough days and all that? How are the schools supposed to function without these teachers? And why the hell is all of this coming down so heavily on the teachers? This is the only way to deal with the budget shortfall? Why aren't the highly paid administrators taking pay cuts? Or turning in their district provided SUVs?

For a group of supposedly highly educated individuals, this is one piss poor plan of action.
