Tea Party, Meet the Religious Right

Good article. I think alot of folks hated the bailouts and predicted the recession and therefore had just cause to protest at the ballot box. But to replace our representatives with the religious right and the same folks who spent us into this mess all under the vale of patriotism. Where was the tea party demonstrations when Congress just extended the Patriot Act? I thought they stood for the constitution and civil liberties.

Killer article gmg77! It contained one of the best sentences I have read in a long time... "Part of why this fraud has been sustainable thus far is that libertarians -- like everyone who doesn't view all politics through the mandated, distorting, suffocating Democrat v. GOP prism -- are typically dismissed as loons and nuts, and are thus eager for any means of achieving mainstream acceptance." So sad but true!
