My point was the date 2-27-09 isn't really accurate and as early as 2007 the tea party had begun with Ron Paul in the primary. The "birthdate" marks when the GOP establishment gained control of the message with money and propaganda in order to fight the new democratic party control of the white house. Every political party changes over time and I would hope the Tea Party Patriots could reform the weak Republican party from the inside to a more libertarian less neocon world view. I think alot of Americans would like less waste and corruption in Washington, so I hope the tea party is not duped into another unfulfilled contract with america.
