Wow! I did not know the "grammar police" now run these threads. Damn, these folks are going to eat me alive!
I find it quite disturbing that our teachers in Waukegan are going to be the ones that are burdened by the fiscal situation that District 60 is dealing with?
Let's take a look at Lincoln Center? When I was a kid, sometimes we were allowed to go in there during the summer and play a few full court games in the gym. If I remember correctly, the schools ran very smoothly back then. Needless to day, one can not manipulate oneself in the same fashion at the old school's gym on Glen Flore and Sheridan. I hope the School Board sees and addresses this situation appropriately, and not upon the backs of the educators of our precious youth!
Personally, I seek leadership from those elected to make the right decisions. Airborne!
