I meant that in a 'de facto' sense. The superintendent 'initialized' the flyer therefore, it is district approved and sponsored in my mind. The event is organized by a group from Mark Kirk's office. Some parent talked to me about it this week. She was upset that the schools were 'promoting' one candidate -Mark Kirk (in her eyes) over another. That such an event was at a school. And lastly, it was not in English.
They also let area churches use their buildings. Does that mean they endorse those churches?
Kirk has an event like this every year. Why is it a bad thing?
I don't know. You'd have to ask her.
But I don't think the event is questioned, rather should schools get involved in this area outside of children's education.
