SKIP IT!!!! I did last year, even though my spouse went. And I wasn't the only teacher in the building. What's the point of listening to the same mumbo jumbo each year. The guest speaker always makes me hurl. I stayed at school and went through the transcripts of every one of my students so I could get an idea of who needed more of my attention to get them on the right track. I've got more important things to do.
