The calls stack up no matter what...what this means is for the police officer sent to a call that would be labeled as "high risk" and that police officer is sent alone, ask for back up and not go till that back up is available. Almost every night of the week calls are being sacked because of the short handed police force. Not one of these people would just "sit back" and let a crime occur just to prove a point. Not only is that going against the oath that was taken, but it is underminding the character of the very HEROS that will come to your home if someone was holding a gun to you trying to take your belongings. Again, you have no idea what this job entails or how it effects a person's entire life as well as their families. I appreciate that you have an opinion, just like I have mine. But the only BS that I see is yours. I don't understand why you are trying to make hard-working individuals out to be the "bad guy' for trying to be smart about the way that they attack crime and gangs in Waukegan.
