I've been trying NOT to say anything more, but I'm really getting tired of his being deified.
The man had serious mental problems, but nobody wanted to say NO to him. He was the family's meal ticket and now they want to grab whatever is left in the estate. No matter how serious his destructive behavior was and the trouble he got into, nobody sat him down and drove any sense into his head. Instead they allowed it to go on. As long as he was paying the bills, his lawyers, his doctors, his family, all preferred to enable him. He was a joke with regards to how Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton saw him; until they noticed how they could get plenty of free camera time.
Whether you believe the accusations about his behavior with young children, you have to admit that he brought these upon himself. He never changed his behavior once he settled the first time, and moonwalked away from the criminal trial.
In the end, he was a pathetic figure, but one who brought it upon himself, and those who now wail about he'll be missed are being as blind as his 'friends' and family were.
The children will now be used to further the money machine. Being trotted out like performing seals for awards shows, memorial concerts, book signings by the Jackson siblings, until they no longer bring in the paydays.
