Got this notice in my Waukegan google alert. Keeping forgetting about this part of Waukegan's southside. Wink Where does this neighborhood send their children to school? When you see the map you can click on it and move the hand to see some of these large homes. Anyone know more about this neighborhood?

Leslie A. Braat and Stephen C. Braat bought the four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 2310 W. Steeple Chase Circle in Waukegan from Marlin Hutchens and Linda Hutchens for $785,223 on April 28.

The Hutchenses acquired the property for $700,000 in Sept. 2003. The 4,303-square-foot house that was built in 1986 is in the Waukegan South neighborhood.

Ms. Braat is the senior associate director of admissions at Oberlin College.

She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Toledo. She earned her Ph.D. and completed her post-secondary education at the University of Michigan.

There were 957 home sales in Waukegan in 2008, with a median sales price of $108,464.
