Forum rules are to attack the post not the poster. Using the terms bile, imbeciles, morons and retards (in another post) is just really sad.
I described how most political boards work. The elected leader of a board is usually the person that most agrees with the most members of the board. In other words the lowest common demoninator. If the citizens are not interested enough to question why Batiste blames the board and not me, that is more a reflection on the sad state of affairs in Waukegan, IL. The citizens of Waukegan have been dissapointed again and again. This is not the time to fawn over the newly elected board that is the same as the old board that was fawned over at the last election. It's time to get much more involved and supervise everything that they do. My point was nothing will change until we the citizens change our level of involvement with this local unit of government. Again, in other words, it's our fault that things are not better at the school district. In this country we use words to resolve our disputes. This forum is one of the outlets for those words. And I wasn't telling you what to think, I think I was telling citizens to think about getting much more involved in what they are doing. Fawning over the individual board members or fawning over a slate hasn't helped the district progress and isn't thinking. The citizens need to think about thinking more about what the board is thinking.
For example, who was lying? Was it Mr. Hawn stating "we are behind him 100%" speaking for the entire board? Or was it Dr. Batiste blaming the entire board? I tried, I tried, I tried! Search on youtube by entering the following three terms - hawn batiste waukegan - to hear it for yourself. Think about that for example. What's going on with these people? I'm asking you to think about it and figure it out for yourself.

Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth, more than ruin, more even than death.
