It's becoming apparent that the city's entire revenue plan is based on this kind of negative taxation.
After all, we have little sales tax revenue, and - as Mayor Hyde constantly points out - the city has not raised its portion of the property taxes. What the current administration fails to realize is that the city would have more revenue if it could attract more people, not drive them away.
