What's more important?
Being a fan/cheer leader or meeting with voters to talk about the state of the city and vision for our future?
Hyde didn't meet withthe firefighters but sent Vukovich instead.
Then, on Friday he went to Peoria instead of meeting with the senior citizens at Lilac Ledge.
Even though the meeting was at 10:30 in the morning and the game didn't start until that evening.
Then he comeas to the debate an hour late and doesn' t answerthe questions. But taslks about what a great job the basketball players did.
Being a fan and alumni of WHS is all good, but celebrating a basketball champiohip should not take precedence over meeting with the voters, discussing the issues and actually answering question.
Hyde just wanted to be seen and proclaim his connection to WHS in hopes of getting votes.
Political posturing on the backs of those wonderful kids is disgraceful.
