How have we misconstrued that Greece hid its debt and now is dragging down the EU. All we stated is its not because healthcare, as you post stated they have single payer, Canada has single payer yet their banks aren't failing. And to Danno's point nothing in the health care bill make our system single payer or federal administered its still privatized.
I have no loyalty to the EU Im a proud american, but the fact is the Euro has outperformed the dollar even with this Greece issue. I dont think we need to wish ill to other countries to prove our greatness. And even if the Euro goes below the dollar who cares It will make travel their less expensive.
I think Democrats losing seats to Republicans in Nov. is bound to happen, but I doubt either party is going to make a difference. Its foolish to think either party has regular citizens best interests in mind.
