Quote:“I have a message,” Paul said at his victory speech Bowling Green. “A message from the Tea Party. A message that is loud and clear and does not mince words: We have come to take our government back.”
Rand Paul

Teabaggers net a win against republican candidate in Kentucky primary. Ron Paul's son no less.

You seem to use the term 'teabagging' quite often; Is this a Freudian slip on your part?

Is Rand Paul a libertarian?

I think Rand for the most part has libertarian anti-tax, pro free market roots. But he also has less libertarian views pro-afgan war, anti-abortion probably played up for the primary. It will be interesting if he keeps feeding the tea party red meat or tries to become more centrist in the general election. He has made rookie mistakes like saying we should repeal American with disabilities act which may jive with his anti government philosophy, but will probably alienate voters.

Randy's idealistic libertarian ideals don't seem to be very popular.
