Why don't you, first, describe YOUR personal contribution to American life. I think we have some people here that have lived off their parents and have nothing to show for their decades of human existence. Stop attacking those of us who foolishly pay our unreasonable government tax burden. You people are heading us down the road to ruin.

Let me see:

I live on my own, own my own house and pay my taxes.

I bring my hard earned money to the US to stimulate it's tourist economy.

Why do WE have to constantly DEFEND ourselves against people like you ClassicalLib? It amost seems like you are fighting the battle I AM RIGHT, THE REST OF THE WORLD IS WRONG!!
Maybe you should remove your black sunglasses and open your eyes. We live in a multiculutural world and it will not change.
The US is no longer the most benevolent country in the world, hence the fact you invaded Iraq under false presumptions of weapons of mass destruction, which where not there when the fighting was over. And now the US turned a former STABLE country in to a country where people like to blow eachother up!

Secondly, Afghanistan. The US invaded it with big fanfare to hunt down Osama Bin Laden. Good Cause, but apparently the US did not learn from it's history. The Mighty USSR got their asses kicked in there when they tried to do the same.

Maybe the US should solve it's internal problems before trying to tackle the world!

Dennis, Why don't you expound on the reason for the Dutch trading posts located along the African continent's coast, in the 1700's. And while you're at it, tell us how your government handles illegal immigrants.

The Dutch sold slaves and we bought them how does that make them worse than us? Your only claim to greatness is US citizenship? How are you going to make America better halt immigration and enforce English only laws?

Im confused doesn't your idol Glenn Beck say Roosevelt is the root of the evil progressive movement?

Gotta go my Mom is upstairs calling me for dinner... Big Grin

I just don't get the liberals. Do you not realize that our country is bleeding to death? We are dying here.
We have NO MONEY to care for our elderly. We have NO MONEY to educate our youth. We have NO MONEY to keep our cities functioning... to keep paying our police force, to pay our fireman, to pay our teachers. We have NO MONEY.
We cannot keep supporting just anybody that wants to walk across our borders and demand aid. We can't keep paying for babies to be born of parents with no insurance - who don't speak English. We can't keep paying to have everything printed in multiple languages so that every newcomer can understand.
Its time to just take care of our own.
WAKE UP People. How will we all be able to survive? What are you thinking?

At least you watch Glenn Beck. You have to admit, he exposes the truth, and the more you watch, the more you look forward to the next show. God bless you, for you have finally found the truth, as have I.

Fair and balanced is the order of the day. I thank God for Rupert Murdoch, for if he didn't personally subsidize his t.v. news, Americans would not know what our government is up to. I'm going to buy some News Corporation stock because I believe after November 2nd, socialist leaning corporations, that are currently boycotting Fox news, will have to advertise, at premium prices, on Fox if they want to sell their products, and satisfy their investors.
