"Don't fuel 'unhinged'"
#1
President Bill Clinton makes an excellent point here in his commentary "don't fuel the 'unhinged.'" He is speaking about radical right-wing extremists
who seek to "demonize our democratically (with a small "d") government with incendiary language" that "can have effects beyond just rallying a crowd."

He points to Republican U S Representative Michelle Bachman who on April 15, 2010 at Tea Party Rally called "the Obama administration and the
Democratic Congress 'the gangster government.'"

President Clinton makes the point that "they are not gangsters" and that "they were elected. They are not elected to do anything there were not elected to do." He points to the same extreme rhetoric back in the mid-1990s which inspired Timothy McVeigh to commit the horrendous Oklahoma City bombing.

I have seen the same kind of extreme, right-wing rhetoric here on the WT Forums. Rather than try to discuss current events with such individuals, it is best to recognize them in my opinion as who they are ... angry, right-wing extremists who are not capable of reasonable debate but rather seek to attack, intimidate, bully those with whom They disagree and then initiated thread after after thread after thread with Their angry, rambling viewpoints. All viewpoints that do not fit the Rush Limbaugh or FOX NEWS viewpoint of the United States is deemed a "heretic." Because, after all, Their is ONLY ONE
"correct" viewpoint: Theirs, and NO OTHER.

The People by a majority elected President Barack Obama and a Democratic U S House and U S Senate. The People spoke. President Obama, a man of color, said he would be reform health insurance, allow once again stem cell research, wind down the war in Iraq and be about building a more just, humane, decent, just USA along with the Democratic Party. He and the Democratic Party are doing just this, they were ELECTED to public office, THE PEOPLE SPOKE.

Since some are soo unhappy with his accomplishments to date, then you have THE BALLOT BOX to express your disastisfaction. But don't be calling our government incendiary names like "gangsters" as THE PEOPLE of the USA here democratically ELECTED them.

And compared to the many extreme radical right-wing fringe of "Tea Party" and Republican contenders to date, IMHO and the opinions of millions of other AMERICANS, President Obama and the Democratic Party are looking BETTER every day.

'the people spoke' when GWB was elected but that didn't stop the lunatic left fringe from foaming at the mouth.

WT, Spring is here, the American people are more politically engaged than they have ever been, and November is going to be a good month for America's greatness. We reject your darkness. I do, however, urge you to continue posting your 'opinion' , it really helps our recruiting efforts. P.S. We don't view our President as a black man, as you consistently feel the need to, for we are color-blind, we do recognize a Marxist-Progressive when we see one, and that is our objection. God Bless America and the TeaParty Movement. Sincerely, The Voice of Reason

Same old, same old.

Sarah Paliln, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck and FOX NEWS are the greatest recruiters for more to vote DEMOCRATIC this November.
These "entertainers" posing as political gurus are so whacky that only the lunatic fringe buys into their total distortions and contempt of the majority of
the very diverse American People.

How come, by the way, how is it that when we watch these "Tea Party" activists, we seldom see any people of color??? That is because the "Tea Party"
activists do not represent the REAL America, rather a tiny minority of the American Public, mostly angry older white Republican males, who fear losing their perceived "superiority" above the rest of the diverse good and decent American People.

Only when we get past this polarization and realize that we, ALL OF US, are being and have been duped, is when real progress will be made.

Yes, God bless the Teaparty for we all know that is God's preferred political leaning don't we? Yikes! God help us!
