President Bill Clinton makes an excellent point here in his commentary "don't fuel the 'unhinged.'" He is speaking about radical right-wing extremists
who seek to "demonize our democratically (with a small "d") government with incendiary language" that "can have effects beyond just rallying a crowd."
He points to Republican U S Representative Michelle Bachman who on April 15, 2010 at Tea Party Rally called "the Obama administration and the
Democratic Congress 'the gangster government.'"
President Clinton makes the point that "they are not gangsters" and that "they were elected. They are not elected to do anything there were not elected to do." He points to the same extreme rhetoric back in the mid-1990s which inspired Timothy McVeigh to commit the horrendous Oklahoma City bombing.

I have seen the same kind of extreme, right-wing rhetoric here on the WT Forums. Rather than try to discuss current events with such individuals, it is best to recognize them in my opinion as who they are ... angry, right-wing extremists who are not capable of reasonable debate but rather seek to attack, intimidate, bully those with whom They disagree and then initiated thread after after thread after thread with Their angry, rambling viewpoints. All viewpoints that do not fit the Rush Limbaugh or FOX NEWS viewpoint of the United States is deemed a "heretic." Because, after all, Their is ONLY ONE
"correct" viewpoint: Theirs, and NO OTHER.
The People by a majority elected President Barack Obama and a Democratic U S House and U S Senate. The People spoke. President Obama, a man of color, said he would be reform health insurance, allow once again stem cell research, wind down the war in Iraq and be about building a more just, humane, decent, just USA along with the Democratic Party. He and the Democratic Party are doing just this, they were ELECTED to public office, THE PEOPLE SPOKE.
Since some are soo unhappy with his accomplishments to date, then you have THE BALLOT BOX to express your disastisfaction. But don't be calling our government incendiary names like "gangsters" as THE PEOPLE of the USA here democratically ELECTED them.
And compared to the many extreme radical right-wing fringe of "Tea Party" and Republican contenders to date, IMHO and the opinions of millions of other AMERICANS, President Obama and the Democratic Party are looking BETTER every day.
