Where Did The Posts Go?
#1
Effective immediately -

Anything smelling remotely of politics has been moved to the proper category called - you guessed it - "Politics"

If you're going to post something political, that's where it belongs. Anything posted here that is of a political nature and not breaking news concerning Waukegan will be DELETED, not moved.

Thanks.

a little advanced warning might be nice next time. Some of the posters who were doing this are kinda new to this forum and maybe did not know all the rules.

Jazmin,

A note about political posts has appeared under the Politics topic since day one:

yes I see that. but maybe not everyone did or maybe they forgot. Now we have deleted conversations that some peiople thought were interesting. I am not trying to start a fight but it seems like people are being scolded like toddlers for having a normal debate but just in the wrong room. why not just a friendly reminder first. That's all.

I apologize for not abiding by the rules. I sometimes would begin a new post in the "Breaking News" heading knowing that it really wasn't breaking news becuase that gets the most action would be more likely to be seen.
Since Harold can tend to get offensive maybe there should be a "Harold's on the Rag" heading. Ok, I'll shut up now.

All right if it makes the paper is it news or politics as with being waukegans Annexation? That is if i wish to post my thoughts on it?

That's Harold Beadling, Danno. Being comfortable in my heterosexuality, I would never refer to my fellow man as being "On The Rag." Curious choice, to say the least. Harold Beadling

Jazmin - In the future I will take your words into consideration before making such changes. The posts were not deleted, just moved.

Danno - No apologies necessary.

corezero - Something like Waukegan's annexation plans for Township residents would be fine under Breaking News. It's the political back and forth types of topics that need to go under Politics. If you have thoughts, feel free to share. I'm surprised it hasn't come up.
