Where is the Union
#1
Do we have a Union? We are constantly getting bullied! Now the administration is trying to take away the band trip and the csp europe trip. The rumor is that Dr. Echols said the trips were biased because not all kids could afford the trips. What is going on with our high school or "anti" high school? The Union needs to put a stop to the cyber bullying from the administration and their non professional email assaults on staff.

Who knows...maybe im the only one who feels this way.

Sorry Bruce. Unless it's basketball (or football, sometimes) it don't matter. Screw the csp and band as long as we got a killa basketball team.

Csp is college study prep? How long has the Europe trip been in existence? If we wanted to call Dr. Echols where is he/she located?

I was in band and went on great trips/concert journeys -went to West Campus. I don't remember if they had csp way back when. However, if a student/child really wanted to go they could have an incredible life lesson in earning the money. Why take away the opportunity to go to another country?? We should continue to have opportunities that the students can reach for. Once I heard an administrator at a board meeting say that, "we need to level the playing field." And I guess more of that is happening. Inspire our children, don't tell them, "we don't think you can manage this..."

Let us know if our input would help. And if this is just a rumor or a real danger. Our district needs to stand out and offer outstanding opportunities to it's students. Not become a nanny district.

Bruce?

Bruce, I would love to hear if we can help. I want these activities/opportunities in place for my children and all students.
