In regard to the original topic which was a question regarding COSLA's current status, we are currently planning two upcoming public forums: one involving the candidates for the April 2009 School Board election and the other will seek to expand both community awareness and student participation in the College Studies Program at Waukegan High School. Details will be forthcoming very soon.

Regarding the multiple postings under this topic that refer to COSLA (and it's past activities) in such a way that could give the impression that our organization is linked to the specific subject that Mr. Sartin is obviously very passionate about, I want to clarify any potential confusion:
freedomisntfree ( aka Ron Sartin) is not a member of or spokesperson for the COSLA organization, but he is simply sharing details of some of our past history/accomplishments as is documented on our website: http://www.coslawaukegan.org . I'm sorry to say that our website has been sorely neglected in the past months, but we certainly plan to post the information regarding our upcoming forums on our website (and on wauktalk) as soon the specific details are worked out.
