Shooting at High School

Overheard on the police scanner...a female student fired a gun in a bathroom in the old South Building (Alternative School) around 1:00 PM today. Police were called and the student was apprehended along with the weapon.

There was no mention of a victim at the time or if she was attempting to kill someone or herself.

How in the hell was a weapon brought into the school?

Were the metal detectors functioning or even being used?

Where were the security guards?

How did this happen?

Do you ever post comments that actually have a constructive sentencing?

Or is it easier to just shoot down everything.
