Lake County United has distributed a Waukegan School Board Election Voter Guide to all registered voters via the mail. All 6 candidates responded with their position to four elements relating primarily to Waukegan High School. (The Small Learning Communities, Measurment of Student Success, Charter Public Schools & The College Studies Program) It is well worth taking the time to read this material, however there appears to be a typo that should be noted in order for the reponses to best be evaluated: the responses to "Measurement of Success" and 'College Studies Program" seem to be switched around.
Kudos to LCU for their efforts in bringing this information directly to the voters, I certainly hope people will take the time to read the flyer and use the information as part of the critical process of evaluating the candidates.
