A California based open government group has just filed a lawsuit against California State University's non-profit foundation for disclosure of resigned
ex-Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin's upcoming speech fees with alleged perks fit for a Royal. Also, California Attorney General Jerry Brown is investigating this matter, following students finding a draft of a confidential Palin speaking engagement contract in a Dumpster at the school.
Alleged perks include first-class commercial air travel for two or a private jet -- "must be a Lear 60 or larger" -- from Alaska to California and back. Also, a deluxe hotel suite "registered under an alias" and two unopened bottles of water with "bendable straws" are part of Palin's alleged demands.

Palin's speaking fee was not found in the document but her usual speaking fee is at least $100,000.
California State Senator Leland Yee, D-San Francisco, is also speaking out. He has called for university foundations to be included under the state's public records act. "Our public university executives need to stop acting like they are running private country clubs and personal slush funds," Yee said.
Palin surely tries act like she is "talking the talk" of "ordinary" America but from this most interesting news story developing here, it appears she certainly does not "walk the walk."
