40th Anniversary of Kent State
#1
May 4th was the 40th anniversary of the Kent State killings.

What a dark time in America's history when an Ohio National Guardsmen Sgt. Lawrence Shafer bragged about "taking a bead on Jeffrey Miller" a 20 year old unarmed student 265 feet away, and then shooting him through the mouth killing him almost instantly. A commission concluded that no one ordered the National Guard to open fire.

Yes, Danno, the HATERS thought they could stifle the Will of The People.
But THE PEOPLE spoke and in unity said "OUT of VIET NAM " and that dirty, nasty, vile war ended.

The HATERS never want us to "IMAGINE" a better day of BROTHERHOOD rather than of STRIFE,
of PEACE rather than WAR.

YET the DREAM and work goes ever forth that our "world will live as one."
