Waukegan Independent Network...what is it?

Can anyone share any info about this Waukegan Independent Network?

Their website is a little vague, and I'd be interested in learning more!

The initial purpose was to change the city of Waukegan to independent elections vs. the current two-party system. There was a lot of interest initially, as it was started soon after the mayoral election. Since then, it has lost steam and rather fizzled. I haven't gotten a meeting notice in quite some time.
