Well I know that CREW is affiliated with Mr. Jose Guzman who I believe is running for mayor. Action Now has no political affiliations and is only dedicated to serving the community. I just think that I would rather be a part of a group that is promoting the interests of the community instead of promoting a candidate for mayor.

where did you hear that? i've researched CREW and spoken at length with many of it's members. CREW simply interviewed all the candidates, (Mayor Hyde choose to cancel) in an effort to gather information. everyone is welcome to join. feel free to check out their website. please post information that you know to be true. this mayoral race is complex enough, no need to muddy the field with misinformation.

The disinformation campaign has begun! Uh, Mr. Guzman and his son (who basically did all the talking for him) spoke before CREW. I'm confident that Guzman doesn't have the support of even 1 CREW member. If you listen to the audio (I, for one, confronted him with some very critical questions regarding his qualifications). Please get your facts right and cease the disinformation campaign.

For the umpteenth billionth time, the purpose of CREW was to have a forum where the same set of questions can be addressed by each of the mayoral candidates of Waukegan. I have already begun my support of the candidate of my choice. The others, of course, are able to throw support behind whichever candidate THEY choose. As a collective group, if there is a candidate everyone agrees on supporting, then there will be a concentrated CREW effort to do campaign work towards that candidate. Again, the main purpose was to have a forum for the candidates. Take care...

Jeff, you are mistaken about the stated purpose of CREW. the following was stated by one of CREW's founders only days ago: "We have always said….or goal is not to determine our singular vote for this election, but to do what we can to secure thousands of votes for our agreed upon candidate collectively".

So it looks like you are a CREW renegade... Alas, you can have some fun calling yourselves the CREW CUTS!
