Heard he will be at Highland Park next yr! Always heard he was going to leave/retire after this yr but this is the first I heard about Highland Park.

This current school year is year #4. Next year is the final year of Batiste's contract.
Has anyone taken a recent look at his contract and seen whether his performance goals match what's really going on? Our district's test scores declined from last year. Isn't he supposed to be improving district performance? This really should have been a year for him to prove that he's on the right track.

Does it really matter how long his contract is? Must he stay 5 yrs? Or can he leave any time?
